Denny's is one of my favorites. However, my one visit to this particular location wasn't great. The restaurant itself, decor wise was very nice. The server was friendly but very, very slow. Our food was ready and she continued to do other things. It got so bad that another server had to come help us, but that server did apologize for the other employees behavior which I was grateful for. Also, the employees were arguing behind the counter in clear ear shot. The food was okay, but I've definitely had better.
We usually enjoy Dennys but last week's visit was different. When we walked in instead of someone seating us the waitress yelled at us from across the room and pointed at a table. The place was not busy. She had an attitude while taking are order. She then proceeded to get my son's order wrong. The food was very good. She did not bring are check. When we went to pay she rung it out before we got there and seemed very irritated when when we told her we had a coupon. Next time I see her I will ask for someone else. Too bad because we are usually very good tippers!
Nothing special here. Most of the time its good service. A staff that's been there for quite some time and knows the regulars.
Love the updates! Especially plug outlets at most of the booths. This allowed me to get some good studying in without the worry of how i was going to recharge my laptop. The server was very attentive and I never had to ask for a refill. Since i stayed a while i made sure to tip generously to accommodate me taking up a booth for so long. Everyone should be that courteous to your server. The Gouda Burger was really good. I could only finish half.
Since the remodeling, the food and the service, have gone down hill. On my last visit, an afternoon ordering breakfast food, the eggs were warm, not hot, and the meats, bacon, sausage, and ham, were all cold. Cooked, but cold. When manager asked me how was our meal was, I told her that it was cold and got an "I'm sorry", and that was it. She didn't really seem to care.
